Innovation Keynote Speaker to Headline NC Festival Association Showfest
“Innovating Within Your Competitive Advantage”
Julie Austin, inventor, innovator and innovation keynote speaker will headline the NC Festival Association’s Showfest 2019 in Charlotte, NC, February 10, 2019.
Innovation has become a vague buzz word these days. Julie Austin’s talk is a lesson about companies throughout history that were on the brink of going under due to some kind of disruption, but instead started innovating within their competitive advantage — and ways your organization can head off disruption in the future.
“The event and festival industry is booming, so now is the time to innovate”, says Austin, an inventor and motivational keynote speaker. “Most companies and industries wait until it’s too late. Successful companies constantly innovate.”

INNOVATION KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT RIALTO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT BUSINESS LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – Innovation keynote speaker and inventor Julie Austin will deliver the keynote “Sparking Innovation: Turning Your Employees Into Problem Solvers Using Teamwork” on July 27, 2018.
The 2018 Rialto Business Leadership Conference is organized by the Rialto Unified School District, and will be sponsored by Trane, Inc.
Education is being disrupted, and the Rialto Unified School District is making it a priority to stay ahead through innovation. In fact, their tagline is “Bridging Futures Through Innovation”.
“One of the biggest barriers to innovation is motivation”, says Austin, “Employees are motivated by different things. Find out what motivates them and incentivize them.”
Innovation starts at the top, and managers need to be open and receptive to hearing new ideas from everyone in the organization. Anyone from the CEO to the janitor has ideas that are worth listening to. Through brainstorming and team-building, the team acts as one big, collective brain that feeds off of each other to help solve problems and come up with new ideas.
Innovation is more than just a buzzword. And change is going to continue to disrupt education. But through innovation you can learn to turn change into opportunity.

INNOVATION KEYNOTE SPEAKER TO KICK OFF .ORG INNOVATION SUMMIT
SHAUMBURG, IL – Association executives will gather for the annual .org Innovation Summit, presented by .org Source to learn how to infuse innovation into their culture. Innovation keynote speaker and inventor Julie Austin will kick off the event.
For years, associations have enjoyed a legacy business model and have remained pretty much unchallenged until the Internet began disrupting that business model. Now, other non profits, for profit startups, Linked In and Facebook groups, and online content are giving them a run for their money.
And it’s more than just technology that’s shaking up the association business. Changing demographics, limited revenue streams, and higher member expectations are some of the problems they are facing.
“Anything can change your business”, says Austin, “the economy, customer tastes, government regulations, counterfeiters, or even the weather. You have to constantly be innovating to stay ahead of the curve”.
This means innovating every aspect of your business, from your memberships to your events, to the way you tell the story of your organization.
Innovation is more than just a buzzword. And change is going to continue to disrupt the association business. But through innovation you can learn to turn change into opportunity.

LOS ANGELES, CA, November 28, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ — HydroSport has just announced that a percentage of their net profits of all swiggies, wrist water bottle sales will go to the Doggie Food Bank, which feeds dogs of the poor and homeless in Los Angeles.
“The Doggie Food Bank is a timely and worthy cause”, says Julie Austin, CEO of HydroSport, the parent company for swiggies. “Since food stamps and food banks don’t cover dog food, there is a great need for this service, and the Doggie Food Bank provides a good, easy solution to that problem.”
The Doggie Food Bank was created because of one simple need. Due to the hardship many Americans are going through right now, many people were having to choose between feeding themselves or their four-legged kids. And dogs were ending up back in shelters because of something that could so easily be remedied. Another expense that was causing dogs to end up in shelters was medical care.
Also, most homeless shelters don’t allow dogs. And many homeless people would rather sleep on the streets than give up their beloved dogs. They were sharing part of their food bank meals with their dogs, leaving less for themselves.
Dogs provide more than just unconditional love and companionship to the homeless, they keep them warm and provide safety and security. For many of the homeless, their dogs are the one ray of hope they have.
The Doggie Food Bank is a non-profit organization that has one mission… get dog food and medical care to the poor and homeless who love their dogs, but are struggling to support them.
The mobile food bank travels between social services, churches, and neighborhoods where the poor and homeless are located. We work with local social services and food banks to determine their needs, and get food and supplies to the people who qualify.

LOS ANGELES, CA, June 12, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ — The consumers have voted in the Toyman Award of Excellence and the winner is swiggies, wrist water bottles for best innovation and quality.
With the summer heating up, it’s even more important for kids to be hydrated. Swiggies, wrist water bottles are a fun way to get kids to drink more water. Swiggies unique, patented hands-free design makes it easy for them to drink water on the go.
And since 60 million plastic water bottles are thrown away every day in the U.S., with only a fraction of them being recycled, swiggies is a great, green alternative. They are BPA-free and have been approved by Child Safe International.
“With swiggies, parents and coaches don’t need to remind kids to drink water. It’s right there on their wrists,” says Tom Root, president of HOPSports, a national after-school fitness program for kids.
Dehydration places kids at risk for serious conditions, like heat exhaustion and heat stroke, which can be life threatening if left untreated. But dehydration is completely preventable as long as kids drink enough of the right kinds of fluids.
