Swiggies started with a simple problem: how do you carry water on a long run without holding a bottle the whole way? Julie Austin, the inventor and a working endurance athlete, designed the first wrist water bottle, secured trade dress protection, and built it into a product now sold across 25 countries. The bottle is manufactured for HydroSport USA, LLC, a woman-owned business in Plano, Texas. Julie still runs the company.
